While it provides a fairly simplistic (but decent) overview of the forms and pitfalls some US people abroad may often overlook (knowingly or unknowingly – and the difference is a VERY expensive one…as knowingly not filing forms or ignoring US tax law can create multipliers of penalties that are already very high), it does give quick insight into the fact that US taxpayers living and working abroad should be employing some form of tax professional assistance to ensure they are compliant.
