Alicia’s range of clients includes U.S. citizens residing in Canada, small-to-mid-size privately held companies and large multi-national corporations with employees or operations in the U.S. and/or Canada. She advises on and assists with complex tax issues as well as on expatriate taxation and has extensive experience with analyzing cross-border executive compensation, stock and retirement compensation, payroll compliance and severance planning. She also advises on global mobility policy design and implementation.
With almost 20 years of experience advising clients in both the U.S. and Canada on taxation matters, primarily in the area of international assignments and global mobility, Alicia takes pride in providing clients with pragmatic cross-border solutions based on sound tax principles.
As a dual Canadian/U.S. citizen who moved to Canada in 2004, Alicia herself has faced similar challenges to those of her clients.
